Parque Kirkland

Parque Kirkland is a luxury multifamily residential development in the heart of downtown Kirkland.  It derives its architectural concept from a mixed-use mindset by providing expanded amenity options for all residents. These options are centralized within the interstitial space between two architectural typologies. The amenities are partner to a transparent communicating stair which provides animation to the facade as residents ascend and descend. The stair ultimately finishes at the top of the building connecting to an amenity space adjacent to a green roof.  The design of the space was based on a centralized HUB, connecting the ground level activity of the sidewalk, up through and to the roof. Described as 'neighborhoodly', the goal was to enhance community engagement, allowing street and sidewalk to feel integrated with the public spaces within the structure.

Graphite Design Group engaged Pixlwrks to create a series of images that highlight the unique design features and pedestrian friendly character of the development for a presentation with the local design review board.
